This continuing education course is designed to help physical therapists and physical therapist assistants implement evidence and content from the chapter on Motor Development and Control (4) in Campbell’s Physical Therapy for Children, 6th Edition. The course includes a review of this chapter along with four separate video modules designed to reinforce key concepts and aid learners in applying the information into clinical practice. All participants will be required to view the asynchronous sessions and complete brief knowledge assessments prior to the in-person session on November 11, 2023. The in-person sessions (9:00 am- 12 noon) on November 11th will focus on implementation and key developmental principles. This session will be interactive and include case-based discussions and video and optimally some in-person infant demos to emphasize successes and challenges related to knowledge-to-action.
